Life is an adventure
It's fair to say life has been full of adventure, rewarding jobs, and beautiful moments that had nothing to do with crafting, sewing, or running my own business. During all those adventures, I was always drawn to crafting, even when I had no time to enjoy it!
After a few life changes, I found my passion in hand-made goodies… and now here we are, I am digging deep into my love of colour, pattern, fabric and starting a small business - now known as Monny Makes!
Jumping off the rollercoaster of life that was looking a lot like burnout from 35+ years of teaching, I made the change and committed my time to caring for my darling elderly mum, Adele. I also made the move from the Central Coast of NSW to the beautiful rural town of Bendigo in Victoria to be closer to my son and grandkids.

Monny Makes is my own little place of rest and restoration, and each item I make brings an abundance of colour and joy into my days.
Making fun & funky applique Hooded Embroidered Towels that ignite imagination for kids when it is bath or swim time and Coffee Carriers and Coffee Cozy's that not only reduce waste but make every takeaway coffee that little more beautiful.
Being able to craft these items that are always well-loved by the recipient gives me a beautiful way to share my love of hand-made sustainable products with the community; while spending precious time with my family.
